The Next FAST & FURIOUS Sequel Gets Title and March 2028 Release Date

It’s time to go another quarter mile at a time. The next film in the Fast & Furious franchise, which is officially titled Fast Forever, will race into theaters on March 17, 2028. That feels like a long time to wait but you cannot rush greatness, my friends. As usual, Vin Diesel is the one who shared the news via Instagram with a photo of himself and the late Paul Walker, whose character Brian is still alive in the franchise.

“No one said the road would be easy… but it’s ours,” Diesel said in the caption. “One that has defined us and become our legacy… And a legacy… lasts forever.” Why are we getting another Fast & Furious movie? Because they have to do it for family, obviously. Fast Forever will be the 12th overall film in this universe, which also includes the Hobbs & Shaw movie, and the 11th Fast film.

We thought they’d done everything possible in this franchise, including going to the moon, but there’s still more for Dom and friends to accomplish. The next Fast Forever film will keep the franchise’s motor running with yet another sequel in 2028, and we are riding along to see what happens.
