Of course, we expect for any Marvel TV show to have a ton of hidden Easter eggs, and Ms. Marvel certainly did not disappoint on that count. In fact, it was easier than ever for Marvel to sneak in references and nudges to its franchise in Ms. Marvel because Kamala Khan is a big fan herself, and she knows all about the Avengers. Well, she knows about them from the ground view. And, we, of course, know of them more from an eagle-eyed perspective. But good thing Ant-Man has a podcast to help fill in the gaps. Here’s every Easter egg we spotted in Ms. Marvel episode one.

When we first meet Kamala Khan she’s not yet Ms. Marvel, but she does love all things Avengers. One of us, one of us. We see that she runs a YouTube channel analyzing everything to do with the superhero team. We start off with a recap of Avengers: Endgame by way of some excellent animation. And though Kamala maybe embellishes Captain Marvel’s role a little bit, the gist is there. We love getting to see all our favorite heroes, from Valkyrie to Okoye to Steve Rogers, in little paper doll forms. Kamala’s other videos include “Ant-Man and the Wasp’s romantic vacation to Paris” and an upcoming episode about Thor secretly being a gamer.

Maybe the Ant-Man mention is secretly a reference to the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Thor being a gamer, meanwhile, is another throwback to Avengers: Endgame, where we catch Thor playing Fortnite.

Ms. Marvel Ant-Man and The Wasp Quantumania possible easter egg

As mentioned, all this insight comes largely from a podcast called This Powered Life which featured a special Ant-Man episode titled “Big Me Little Me: A Scott Lang Interview.” And to another layer to this Easter egg, Ms. Marvel‘s executive producer and head writer Bisha K. Ali wants to bring the podcast to life in our reality. Ali shared with The Wrap:

I’m desperate to listen to this podcast and desperate to make it. Like, also, why shouldn’t the MCU expand into podcasting? Like fiction podcast? I mean, Paul Rudd, what’s up? Let’s do it. I’ll write it, you just sit in a booth. It’ll be a good time. I would love to hear it. And also because — I don’t know, it can’t be for for everyone, but for me, podcasts are my relaxed space. Like I’m obsessed with podcasts. So yeah, I can see Kamala just sitting around listening to it all the time. I’d love to make it.

Of course, the core of the episode is devoted to an Easter egg heaven, AvengerCon. This con is basically plucked right out of our reality, except it takes place at Camp Lehigh, the army base where Steve Rogers became Captain America after receiving the super serum. Never mind that the place was destroyed during Captain America: Winter Soldier; it’s back in action now.

During the episode, Kamala prepares her cosplay. As she gets ready for the con, she imagines a whole host of ways to make it stand out. She even dreams up a Zombie Captain Marvel, which shouts out to Marvel Zombies and the zombie episode of What If…

At AvengerCon itself, we get everything from a memorial to Black Widow and Iron Man to a postcard referencing that famous line about “America’s ass.” We also hear “The Star-Spangled Man” playing at the convention, in case we’ve forgotten that Captain America was a man with a plan.

To round out the episode, a post-credits scene brings back the Department of Damage Control from Spider-Man: No Way Home. And we’re off to the races as far as MCU connections and Ms. Marvel go.

All of this is not even to mention all the Disney references peppered through the episode. From Mulan to Star Wars, this episode had it all. And we’re sure there will be plenty more Easter eggs to sniff out when episode two of Ms. Marvel arrives.
