There’s really no way to sugarcoat it: MCU actors lie. And we aren’t mad at them for doing it. If Marvel was paying us millions of dollars to star in films and keep our mouths shut to avoid spoilers, we’d do the same thing. Some of them are better at staying mum than others, of course, and others are great at staying quiet, even if we know they are lying to us. Elizabeth Olsen falls in the latter category. During C2E2 (which we learned about via Deadline), she spoke about Scarlet Witch and if we’d see Wanda in Avengers: Doomsday or Secret Wars, saying that she knows “nothing.”

Okay, whatever you say friend. I know nothing,” Olsen said in response to a question about Doomsday. “I know about VisionQuest because I’ve seen Paul [Bettany] in the last six months and I know nothing about any of it.”
That’s the best answer she could give, to be honest. It is wildly easy for a quote to be taken out of context, and she clearly doesn’t want any smoke from Marvel Studios. Do we think she truly knows nothing? Of course not, even though she says she’s not kidding about being clueless. We wouldn’t be surprised to see her in either film, and she could appear in some form in VisionQuest. She has noted before that she wants to return to the MCU, and there’s almost always room for a character to resurface, right?
She didn’t confirm nor deny any involvement, simply saying it had been a while since she had certain conversations. Honestly, people should just stop asking her at this point. She will not tell us the truth, and we support that.
