There are certain directors who have established such a strong resume that we will line up to see anything they put into the world. Christopher Nolan, Martin Scorsese, Ryan Coogler, and Steven Spielberg are just a few of those people. Speaking of the latter, Spielberg is bringing epic otherworldly thriller adventure back to the summer again in 2026 with Disclosure Day, a film with a trailer that’s equal parts chilling and intriguing.
Yes, that’s right kids. Spielberg sci-fi UFO blockbuster season is back again! In the clip, we see Emily Blunt as a meteorologist who is getting ready to deliver today’s forecast for Kansas City residents. However, the broadcast soon goes awry as she starts stumbling over her words. She appears to start “glitching” and clicking, to the horror of those producing the broadcast and others watching.
Of course, in our social media age, the clip begins to circulate. A man (Josh O’Connor) later says that the 7 billion people on Earth have a right to know the truth. What is he talking about? Well, he shows the aforementioned lady and claims that disclosure day is coming. It is all very interesting, indeed. Plus, who doesn’t love seeing Colman Domingo in yet another major film?!

Yes, having Spielberg is quite exciting, but it is just as wonderful that David Koepp penned the script. This duo is responsible for excellent blockbusters like Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. And only Spielberg can bring the great composing legend John Williams out of retirement. We love to see it!
