Move over, Yellowjackets. That wild show about feral teen girls and their cannibal adventures in the woods isn’t the only successful show from Paramount+ Opens in a new tab with SHOWTIME. The Dexter universe continues to expand with offerings like Dexter: Resurrection, Dexter: New Blood, and Dexter: Original Sin. Speaking of the latter, which is a prequel series, fans cannot get enough of exploring the early days of Dexter in the ‘90s. It’s right when his life transitions from being a normal student to a straight up killa. Thankfully, Paramount+ with SHOWTIME gave Dexter: Original Sin a season two renewal, and we cannot wait to see what happens when it returns.
Right now, the show has yet to go into production for its sophomore season. So it will probably be a while before we get any more information about where it will go next. It is not a shocker that Dexter: Original Sin got a season two renewal at Paramount+ with SHOWTIME.
According to the streamer, it is the most streamed global series for SHOWTIME in ten years. In the meantime, we are waiting for Dexter: Resurrection’s arrival, particularly seeing the return of the Trinity Killer.
