That trailer is straight up giving me chills. Haunting is the word that comes to mind, which is exactly what you want in a drama based on the world of King. It’s set in the fictional town Castle Rock; the locale is home to Cujo, Needful Things, and The Dead Zone among others. And did you notice actors such as Sissy SpacekOpens in a new tab, a.k.a. Carrie, and Bill Skarsgård, a.k.a. Pennywise from ItOpens in a new tab in the first look? All the King things!
The specific release date hasn’t been announced for the first season, which will have 10 episodes. We know it’s coming in 2018, but I hope it’s on the earlier side.
