Bill Skarsgård is reprising his role as the iconic villain Pennywise in Max’s It prequel series Welcome to Derry (a working title at this point). He will also executive produce the series. I personally hate clowns but love him in this role.
The Welcome to Derry series is not only bringing Bill Skarsgård back as Pennywise, but director Andy Muschetti will once again be a part of the behind-the-scenes collective. According to Deadline, Muschetti—who directed the last two It films—will direct four out of the show’s nine episodes.

There is no premiere date for Welcome to Derry at this time. It was originally coming our way for Halloween 2024 but a 2025 premiere date seems more likely at this point.
