If you’ve ever wanted to combine the worlds of Baldur’s Gate and Stardew Valley, you are in luck. Baldur’s Gate 3-inspired modification, called Baldur’s Village, is available on NexusMods. It puts elements of the Dungeons & Dragons-based role-playing game into the farming simulator. The mod adds characters, locations, new shops with special items, dynamic events, and more to Stardew Valley.

The description for the mod is as follows:

A new village has recently been built north of Pelican Town, and its new residents seem… rather unusual.  You can find the entrance to Baldur’s Village at the top of the southern mountain map, right next to Linus’ tent.

Baldur’s Village is a large expansion mod for Stardew Valley, inspired by Baldur’s Gate 3. It introduces a brand-new village map and NPCs while staying true to the game’s original atmosphere. Among them, Astarion features a fully developed personal storyline and is available for marriage.

Baldur’s Village includes six new locations from the game. Additionally, Baldur’s Village puts over 20 characters from Baldur’s Gate 3 into Stardew Valley, including the rogue Astarion, who is a fully romancable character. In Baldur’s Gate 3, Astarion is a major playable character through being a primary protagonist or a recruitable party member. There are also a variety of non-playable characters like Karlach and Alfira to interact with. You can walk into their houses, and each character has different dialogue.

Baldur’s Village is such a hit with users that even Swen Vincke, co-founder and CEO of developer Larian Studios who makes Baldur’s Gate 3 said “So much love went into this – amazing work!” on X. For more Baldur’s Gate 3 check out these figurines of the game’s characters.
