As Marvel pursues Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn LevyOpens in a new tab to tackle their next Avengers film, sources tell Deadline Michael Waldron’s script could call on a lot of familiar faces to return to the franchise. Some of the stars reportedly in the mix are series stalwarts like Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hiddleston, Simu Liu, and Karen Gillian. With more than 60 characters potentially in the mix, we’d expect lots of the MCU’s other big surviving characters to join them in a fight against KangOpens in a new tab.
