Some called Avengers: Endgame “the greatest crossover” in movie history. Now Marvel Studios is apparently ready to match it in scope. Deadline reports Avengers: The Kang Dynasty could see more than 60 actors reprise their MCU roles.
As Marvel pursues Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy to tackle their next Avengers film, sources tell Deadline Michael Waldron’s script could call on a lot of familiar faces to return to the franchise. Some of the stars reportedly in the mix are series stalwarts like Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hiddleston, Simu Liu, and Karen Gillian. With more than 60 characters potentially in the mix, we’d expect lots of the MCU’s other big surviving characters to join them in a fight against Kang. (Though that role—assuming its not changed entirely—will see a new actor paying the Conqueror. Marvel fired Jonathan Majors following his conviction for domestic violence.)
