Warning: There are potential spoilers ahead for Avengers 4!
When Avengers: Infinity War hit theaters, we had no idea Marvel would still be withholding the real name of Avengers 4 nearly six months later. Perhaps that's why Tom Holland's Spider-Man was dusted; you can't spoil a movie if you're barely in it. But the veil of secrecy has been so intense, very few confirmed details about the upcoming sequel are available. Fortunately, Hollywood's most reliable source of intel appears to have delivered again. Today's Nerdist News takes a look at the Avengers 4 toys and some of the surprising details they contain.
Join host and wanderer of the space ways, Jessica Chobot, as she provides an in-depth examination of an apparent Avengers 4 toy package posted on Instagram. If this is legit, it appears Thor and Rocket are rockin' some matching Avengers uniforms in the new film. Our theory is these might be spacesuits for interstellar travel.Note that the Captain America figure pictured on the card appears to be wearing a similar costume. However, Captain Marvel is using her normal costume, since she wouldn't need help surviving in space.

Here's where things get really interesting. The blurb on the card appears to say "The Asgardian Thor wields the mighty Stormbreaker in his battle against new foes. Rocket teams up with a new crew to guard the galaxy from an even greater threat." An "even greater threat?" Now who may that be?Thanos is a pretty hard act to follow, especially since the main cosmic threats like Galactus won't be available until after the Disney and Fox deal closes. That said, at least two interstellar groups punch at a higher weight class than Thanos. The first are the Celestials, the space gods briefly glimpsed in the first Guardians of the Galaxy. Another option may be the Builders, the literal creators of the universe from Jonathan Hickman's Infinity storyline. What do you think about the new costumes and potential new threats from Avengers 4?
