The newest look at Andor‘s second season is an intense, terrifying prospect at what awaits the Star Wars universe’s greatest freedom fighters. It’s also a reminder that the Galactic Senate always failed its people, even in the face of ultimate evil. Just as worrisome as this trailer is Lucasfilm’s official synopsis for the second season of Andor. In the war for the very soul of the galaxy it won’t be easy to know who to trust.
The second season of Andor takes place as the horizon of war draws near and Cassian becomes a key player in the Rebel Alliance. Everyone will be tested and, as the stakes rise, the betrayals, sacrifices and conflicting agendas will become profound.

Andor comes from creator and showrunner Tony Gilroy. It stars Diego Luna, Stellan Skarsgård, Genevieve O’Reilly, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, Adria Arjona, Faye Marsay, Varada Sethu, Elizabeth Dulau, and Forest Whitaker. This season will also mark the return of Rogue One‘s Ben Mendelsohn and Alan Tudyk.
The show’s second and final season will debut at Disney+ on April 22. That’s when we’ll get the first three episodes, which will make up the first of four chapters of the 12 episode seasonOpens in a new tab.
