SYFY’s Van Helsing Panel

The action-horror series returns to the convention this year with first-looks for its upcoming fourth season. The streaming website’s horror drama series will make an appearance at SDCC to hopefully share a sneak peek at the upcoming secon season. NXonNetflix Presents the Comic-Con 2019 Masquerade

The stage becomes a celebration of costuming with a fun competition of comics and pop culture creativity, with impressive re-created and original design costumes crafted by talented attendees. Not a dance or party, it’s part talent show, part fashion show, with trophies, cash prizes, and other awards. Doors open for audience seating at 8:00, but the line for choice seating will begin hours earlier. Since the ballroom can fill up, tickets are distributed and will be given out free at noon to those lined up. Any seating tickets that remain will be given out at the Masquerade Desk after 3:00. Adult Swim’s carnival is back on the green. Rick and Morty’s Rickflector will be there to trans-portal your melted minds directly into the animated work of Rich Sanchez himself. The IMDboat Experience

From Thursday through Saturday, IMDb will produce original video coverage on the open-air top deck, including Kevin Smith’s interviews with the casts of Riverdale, Veronica Mars, The Walking Dead, Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and more. Between interviews, on-board talent, showrunners and filmmakers will enjoy a private lounge, cocktails and refreshments, a portrait studio and gifts provided by The LEGO Group, Fire TV, Soylent, IMDb TV, and more.

A lucky number of fans will gain access to the first deck of IMDboat to relax and unwind in the Daytime Lounge, where they can learn more about Fire TV and discover the latest titles streaming for free on IMDb TV by saying “Alexa, go to IMDb TV.” Soylent will be providing fans with all the nutrition they need to keep them going strong by handing out their classic ready-to-drink meal as well as their new snack, Soylent Squared. Guests can be among the first to step into character and learn more about the first-ever IMDb animated series You’re Not a Monster, and check out the latest comics, graphic novels and manga titles in the comiXology reading area. Additionally, Comic-Con attendees can play an IMDb trivia game on the massive IMDboat LED screen on the Fifth Avenue Landing boardwalk each morning. Fans can follow #IMDboat to learn how to be considered for access to the Daytime Lounge.

IMDb Correspondent Ian de Borja will also host daily LIVE streaming coverage of San Diego Comic-Con featuring cast and fan interviews and videos from the convention center and the open-air social studio on the bow of the IMDboat, presented by The LEGO Group. Guests including actress and director Pollyanna McIntosh, the casts of Pennyworth, Emergence, and more will discuss their latest projects, and viewers can learn more about the latest product launches from The LEGO Group. The Batman Experienced Powered by AT&T

To celebrate the Bat’s 80th anniversary, DC Comics and AT&T are inviting fans to explore the largest-ever collection of Batman-related costumes, props, vehicles, and rare DC Comics artifacts. While there, experience a VR skydiving experience over Gotham in “The Dark Knight Dive” exhibit. You can also play “Batman: Arkham Knight” and “WHAAM! KABOOM! POW! The Rogue Gallery Rumble” (a punching bag game) inside the “Batman gaming lounge.”

The Pennyworth Experience

Dragon Ball World Adventure

Try to make history at 3:30 p.m. on Wed by joining the (hopeful) largest gathering of people simultaneously performing the iconic Kamehameha super energy attack move. The first 1,000 participants to arrive will even receive a free Dragon Ball Scouter accessory to wear during the attempt — and actor Sean Schemmel, who voices Goku in the series, will be on hand to lead the attempt.
