Ubisoft‘s Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege video game has amassed hordes of fans since its 2015 release. And now those fans can take the game off the screen and onto the tabletop because Mythic Games is releasing 6: Siege – The Board Game. Mythic Games adapted the phenomenon in innovative ways to make a game different from anything else you’ve seen. 6: Siege – The Board Game is an asymmetrical and tactical game that brings agents from different task forces together.
Mythic Games
Team Six recruits the agents (the players) and trains them to avert a global crisis. Players take the role of Attackers or Defenders and compete in matches with other agents. You can use all the weapons at hand to go against your opponent or build up your battleground to stay safe.

Mythic Games worked closely with Ubisoft to bring the game to life. Everyone involved felt great passion for Rainbow Six: Siege, so it was a matter of bringing everything they liked about the video game to the board game. Game designer Carlos Gomez Quintana in particular was enthusiastic for Rainbow Six: Siege. So enthusiastic that he spent almost two years translating the video game’s vibe and gameplay as faithfully as he could. Then he reached out to Ubisoft and eventually Mythic Games. And now we have 6: Siege – The Board Game.
