The world of John Wick continues to expand with Ballerina, a film starring Ana de Armas that will hit theaters next June. The cast and crew of Ballerina made a special appearance at CCXP last weekend and we got the gift of a featurette that takes us behind the scenes. In it we get some incredible footage of its action, which is not shocking considering this world as a whole. The John Wick franchise is literally the personification of action.
Speaking of the Baba Yaga, we get to see a peek of Keanu Reeves reprising his role as John Wick in Ballerina. And he’s not the only familiar face, of course. We also see other established stars of this universe like Ian McShane, who plays the infamous Winston, and the late and great Lance Reddick, who played Charon. This film will mark one of his final appearances and he will certainly be missed.
We also get to see some Ballerina featurette commentary from The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus, whose character details are still mostly under wraps outside of Daniel Pine being a mysterious guy. We’ve seen him in action as Daryl Dixon for years, so we know this type of role is right up his alley.
Ballerina hits theaters on June 6, 2025.
