If you’re a ’90s kid like me, we probably had some of the same teachers. We all loved Mr. Turner, obviously. But let’s face it, for as tough as he could be on us, nobody was better than Mr. Feeney. He taught us so much about life. Of course, we weren’t really their students. That honor went to the stars of Boy Meets World. But we’ll get to learn what it was like to sit in those classes thanks to a new podcast. Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong, and Will Friedle have launched a new series. And Pod Meets World will revisit the Boy Meets World sitcom episode-by-episode.
To paraphrase Milhouse Van Houten, remember TGIF? It’s back! In pod form. Rider Strong announced on Twitter he’s teaming up with two of his best friends to talk about the job they all worked together as kids. Only they didn’t man an ice cream shop or run a lemonade stand. They starred on ABC’s popular sitcom Boy Meets World as Shawn, Topanga, and Eric. Now they’ll take fans though the making of the show with their podcast. They said in the podcast’s introduction they haven’t seen the show since it aired in the ’90s. They’ll be re-experiencing the series alongside fans who haven’t watched it in decades, either.
The three already released their first full podcast. They discussed meeting for the first time as they began working on the show.
For us ’90s kids, this is the best type of class reunion. We know we’re going to like everyone who shows up. And we actually want to remember what it was like to be in high school.
