GOTHAM KNIGHTS Trailer Gives Us First Look at Misha Collin’s Harvey Dent

Ah, Castiel, we’ve missed you. And sounds like the good folks over at The CW have too. Misha Collins has returned to the network, and more specifically, Gotham City. The actor plays Harvey Dent in Gotham Knights, where he’s investigating Bruce Wayne’s murder. Yep, Batman is dead in the upcoming series, and GCPD had a few suspects in mind. Although it seemed like Misha Collins might be suiting up in just a regular suit, his latest tease of the Gotham Knights role seems to reveal he’ll go full Two-Face in the upcoming series.

The one-hour drama takes place in in the wake of Bruce Wayne’s murder. His rebellious adopted son forges an unlikely alliance with the children of Batman’s enemies when they are all framed for killing the Caped Crusader. And as the city’s most wanted criminals, this renegade band of misfits must fight to clear their names. But in a Gotham with no Dark Knight to protect it, the city descends into the most dangerous it’s ever been. However, hope comes from the most unexpected of places as this team of mismatched fugitives will become its next generation of saviors known as the Gotham Knights.

Misha Collins confirmed the Harvey Dent Gotham Knights news on Twitter last year, making a quip about rocking yet another trench coat on-screen. The series is set in Gotham City in the wake of Bruce Wayne’s murder. Framed for the crime, his adopted son and the children of Batman’s enemies team up to clear their names. And in doing so, they might just become the next generation of Gotham City heroes. Collins join a cast that includes Anna Lore, Fallon Smythe, Tyler DiChiara, Olivia Rose Keegan, Navia Robinson, and Oscar Morgan.

It’s a whole Supernatural reunion over at The CW right now. Collins’ co-stars are all working on their own projects for the network. Jared Padalecki stars on the crime drama Walker, and is executive producing a spinoff, Walker: Independence. Meanwhile, Jensen Ackles returned to the Supernatural world, executive producing and narrating a prequel following the Winchester parents.

Gotham Knights will debut on March 14, 2023 on The CW.
