Brace yourself because darling doodles are coming your way. This week’s Fan Art Friday stars the work of Giusil Vincenzi. She commits many of her illustrations to a kraft brown notebook, and it sets her work apart–the palate changes and colors pop in different ways. On top of her sweet interpretations of characters from Disney, Harry Potter, and beyond, she often adds striking brush lettering in block and fancier prints.
See the block style I’m talking about in this art featuring Grandma Willow from Pocahontas, Grandmother Tala from Moana, and Grandmother Fa from Mulan.
Disney grandmas kind of rock.
The Ghostbusters look ready to take out anything and everything.
Jump on down to the gallery below to see more examples of Giusil’s art. You’ll find cuteness, I promise. And remember when I rounded up Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them fan art and wondered whether anyone was drawing all the magical creatures in Wizarding World? Giusil’s illustrated several of them. Newt Scamander and a unicorn are in the gallery, and the others are linked here.
See even more Giusil’s creations by following her on Twitter, her website, and Instagram.
Do you create any sort of fan art? If so, I want to see it. Whether you focus on a specific fandom or pull inspiration from multiple stories, I’d like to highlight you. If you’d like to be featured in a future Fan Art Friday gallery, get in touch with me at alratcliffe@yahoo.com with examples of your work.
