Former BUFFY Stars Give Their Best Evil Queens in a Parody of THE HUNTSMAN: WINTER’S WAR

It’s been exactly 13 years since Buffy the Vampire Slayer went off the air–yes, you are that old–but nothing has dimmed the affection fans still have for Sunnydale’s finest, one of the funniest and most likable ensemble cast of actors ever in a television series.

Among that ensemble was actor Tom Lenk, who played bad guy turned good guy Andrew Wells on the show, and who has kind of become one of the best celebs to follow on social media, kind of like a baby George Takei. A recent example of how awesome he is can be found in his postings of DIY re-creations of gowns from this year’s futurist/technology themed Met Gala, made with everyday items from around the house. Kind of like those “unconventional materials” challenges on Project Runway, only with a sense of humor.

Now Lenk has taken his homemade couture to the next level, and recreated the over-the-top costumes from the currently-in-theaters sequel nobody asked for, The Hunstman: Winter’s War. You know, the one with Charlize Theron as the Wicked Queen from that one Snow White movie you regretted paying to see, and Emily Blunt as Elsa from Frozen “The Frozen Queen.”

Together with his fellow Buffy alum Eliza Dushku–who of course played Faith the Vampire Slayer on the show–the pair recreate a melodramatic moment between the two characters from the movie, one filled with the appropriate amount of posturing and hissing. You can watch their whole camptastic scene in the post below:

I’d pay real money to see their version of Winter’s War over the real thing any day; how about you? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
