Chris Hemsworth Shares Intense, Shirtless THOR: RAGNAROK Workout Video

If you’d ask most fans towards the end of last year which comic book movies they were anticipating the most in 2017, probably somewhere near the bottom of the list would have been Thor: Ragnarok. Not that people don’t like the Thor films–after all, they did give us Marvel’s best onscreen villain with Tom Hiddleston’s amazing Loki–but they’re not really anyone’s favorite superhero movies. That has more to do with how amazing the rest of Marvel Studios‘ product is than anything negative about Thor, to be honest.

But then this past week, we were treated to a bunch of behind-the-scenes photos from Thor: Ragnarok, and suddenly everyone’s interest went way up. I mean, Thor vs. Bruce Banner on Planet Hulk? Valkyrie? Cate Blanchett looking all sexy/evil as Hela? Jeff freakin’ Goldblum as the alien Grandmaster?? What’s not to get excited about now?? But among all these cool things coming up in the third Thor film, let us not forget the pivotal role that the Odinson still plays in the story, It is his name headlining these movies, after all.

Perhaps as a way of reminding fans “hey guys, these are still my movies,” Thor actor Chris Hemsworth took to Instagram (via ComicBook.com) to drop a video of the insane and intensive workout he does to get into Asgardian level shape with his trainer, Luke Zocchi. And let me tell you, all you ladies out there, and my fellow gentlemen of certain persuasion, this video is definitely worth watching. Possibly more than a few times. I’m just sayin’.

Thor: Ragnarok, from director Taika Waititi will bring the hammer down in theaters on November 3, 2017.
