Henry Cavill may or may not still be Superman, but he is definitely sinking his teeth into his role of Geralt of Rivia, in Netflix’s upcoming fantasy series The Witcher. The new show is based on the series of novels by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. The books later spawned a popular video game franchise. The eight book series introduce us to the world of the titular witchers; they develop supernatural abilities to fight monsters as children.

Netflix has enough faith in The Witcher that they have already greenlit a second season before the first one even drops! In a new featurette, Henry Cavill explains his take on the series’ mythology. And just who his main witcher character, Geralt of Rivia, really is. You can watch the video primer on just what a witcher is down below:

In the video, Cavill describes witchers as almost always “universally hated”. We know this because the video shows us many different people slapping Geralt across the face quite a bit. Which is maybe the opposite of what it’s like being the Man of Steel. He also describes Geralt as “a mutant.” Not many people get to say they’ve played heroic Kryptonians and mutants too.

So, just what kind of powers does a witcher actually have? According to the new video, they’ve got strength, reflexes, special vision, and also have access to some basic magic. Cavill describes this as “very effective”. He also seems to have some kind of telekinetic powers. We see Geralt knock some dude across a hall with his mind, Jean Grey-style. (He did say witchers are mutants after all.)

There’s also a scene where it looks like Geralt is at some kind of orgy. The host of said orgy is a woman wearing a lace mask. Looks kind of like a medieval Eyes Wide Shut type of deal. So…for everyone out there who ever wanted to see Henry Cavill at a swingin’ sex party, it looks like The Witcher is going to have you covered. And we know there are a lot of you out there who fit that description. The video also has many gratuitous shots of a shirtless Cavill, and we are totally ok with that.
