There were several famous houses that I wanted to live in as a ‘90s kid. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air mansion and the Full House townhome to name a couple. But the one that really tops the list is the Home Alone house. This not-so-humble abode in Illinois is a dream for anyone who loves Christmas and wishes they could run through the hallway screaming like Kevin McCallister. It’s easily one of the most famous and recognizable houses in cinema history and now fans can experience all its glory. That’s right, the Home Alone house is now on Airbnb! Get ready to fight those filthy animals who want to take your rightful spot. (Thank you Mashable for reporting this delightful news.)

The exterior of the Winnetka, Illinois, house is pretty much exactly the same as it was in the 1990 film. However, fans who have been keeping an eye on its status know that the inside is quite different now. Long gone are the hallmarks of a ‘90s home with ugly wallpaper and gaudy furniture. Kevin’s house, which sold in 2012 for 1.58 million dollars, is chic and sleek to reflect current aesthetics.

But some of that festive energy is back now that the Home Alone house is on Airbnb! According to a booking page, the house is all decked out with Christmas cheer with stockings at the fireplace and a nice tree. There are even photos of Buzz, who will “host” guests, on the wall. And, of course, the dining room table is set with a bowl of mac and cheese, just for you.

You won’t be able to order Little Nero’s Pizza nor watch Angels with Filthy Souls because they don’t exist! And honestly, you might not get a chance to hang out in the McAllister home for a night either. Booking will open up on December 7 at 1 p.m. CT for a one-night-only stay. The lucky person will get to stay on December 12 and receive a LEGO Ideas Home Alone set. They will also get to kick back and watch the Home Sweet Home Alone film on Disney +. (That part isn’t quite so lucky, huh?)

Airbnb is also making a one-time donation to Chicago’s La Rabida Children’s Hospital in honor of this Home Alone event. So, set your calendars and hope that you’re as quick with the keys as Kevin was setting up all those sadistic traps.
