Attention, all you Deadites out there! We know you are all still super bummed about the recent cancelation of the amazing Ash Vs. Evil Dead, and Bruce Campbell’s concurrent retirement from the role of Ash. Believe us, we feel your pain. But there is still some good news to be heard about the world of Sam Raimi’s classic The Evil Dead. The folks over at Dynamite Entertainment have announced the development of a new miniature-based tabletop game, based on the beloved third movie in the series, Army of Darkness.
In a statement, Dynamite CEO Nick Barrucci said, “Army of Darkness was the first license we signed at Dynamite and it still holds a very special place in our heart. So we couldn’t think of a better, more exciting brand to use for our first miniatures game. We can’t wait to show tabletop gamers and horror fans what we have planned!” The core game has plans to include a number of highly detailed miniatures and be supplemented with expansions, accessories, and other separately released add-ons. You can see an early example of the game’s box art above. No release date for the game has yet been given.
