You read that headline right. There is a pen, it costs 20 grand, and it’s basically all that is gonna salvage this garbage fire of a year for all of us.
Okay, I can already hear you tutting and pearl-clutching. “$20,000 for a single pen?” But hear me out. Sit down a sec. Get comfy. Close your eyes. I want you to imagine that you’re at your home and the inspiration to write overwhelms you. Whether they take form in a poem, the idea behind a novel, or even just a shopping list, you can feel it—these words you will write are different. This new literary masterpiece or note-to-self to buy eggs will have purpose, clout, and dignity.You look around for some sort of writing implement, and you realize all you can find is a broken pencil and a pen with a cap that has been chewed on (which is worrisome since you’re pretty sure you don’t chew on pen caps).
Friends. There is a better way.
