What You Missed By Not Playing FAR CRY 3

With a deluge of new video games hitting stores right now, it can be easy to experience audiovisual overload as a consumer, which can lead to the dreaded condition known as Broken Bank Syndrome. It’s a deadly disease where diehard gamers can’t seem to resist picking up new video games in spite of the fact that they cost $60 a pop. There’s got to be a better way! Well, what about the bargain bin? What about a game you might have missed? You’re in luck because today we’re going to tell you exactly what you might have missed by not playing Far Cry 3.

That’s right — Far Cry 4 may be right on the horizon, but Far Cry 3 still has plenty to offer. Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, Far Cry 3 is an expansive, open world first-person shooter that puts you in the shoes of Jason Brody, a real chill bro on a vacation that quickly goes awry when pirates kidnap his friends. What follows is a grueling, gritty, compelling tale of an average guy forced to journey into the heart of darkness in order to save his friends from the villainous, mohawked maniac Vaas, a South African slave trader. However, every action has its consequence, and soon Jason will have to find out if he has the intestinal fortitude to survive in this bold new world.

Is it a pirate’s life for you? Or are you not a true survivor? Let us know in the comments below.

I honestly wanted to enjoy Far Cry 3, but I just couldn’t get into it and stopped after a couple hours of playing. I love games for the story, however I found I didn’t care about the main character and nothing about the story made me want to continue on. The game had decent controls, but without a reason to continue on…well, it remains on my 360 hard drive barely played.
