What Do You Get When JURASSIC PARK Features Rabbits Instead?

In the original Jurassic Park movie, the major problem was that the scientists created creatures that were ultimately too powerful and beyond their control. All of the major conflicts of the film could have been resolved if the prehistoric creatures were replaced with a more manageable and less formidable foe, like, say, a rabbit, perhaps.

Matt Christensen tried that, and it didn’t work out as well as you would hope. With the help of his rabbit Roger, Christensen took a series of photos depicting what the movie would have been like with a rabbit as the main antagonist instead of clever girl dinosaurs. Of course, the movie would be called Jurrabit Park, because obviously.

Rabbits don’t replace dinosaurs entirely, as Roger is seen co-existing with the gigantic reptile in what seems like perfect harmony. Assuming all of the creatures in his gallery are to scale, then Jurabbit Park takes place in a time when rabbits that were three times the size of cars existed. Does that mean that carrots the size of California Redwoods were also common? And at the rates at which rabbits famously mate, there’s no way the species wouldn’t have taken over the planet and led to a radically different world today. And forgive us for being crass, but those must have been some giant rabbit poops.

Check out the gallery here, and if you can’t get enough of Roger, he has his own Instagram account (and Christensen is on there too).
