  1. Deltus says:

Weird Al needs to get that on DVD. He already has the commentary track. Awesome.

  2. algonacchick says:

I love Al’s Home Movies! That is a bonus feature on his Poodle Hat cd, along with Al’s Hawaiian Shirt Hut, which is basically several funny pics of Al in different Hawaiian shirts. I had one of those snow-cone machines, too. You could flavor Frosty’s guts with different bottled fruit flavors that came with the machine. Ah, good times…

  3. Mary says:

OMG! I’ve got tears in my eyes!! That was just plain hilarious. MORE! MORE!

  4. Axel says:

@M_pony: For you and those who are unfamiliar with the reference, when Al comments on the blimp in the sky he says something like “It’s the blimp, the blimp Frank”, that’s a reference to the song The Blimp (Troutmaskreplica). And the Frank he’s talking to is Frank Zappa, the producer of the album that song is from. Showing how much of an influence Zappa is on Al’s music. For further reading/listening: Check out the Weird Al song “Genius in France” which is a homage to Frank Zappa’s music style ( and Frank’s son, Dweezil, plays the solo in the intro of the song)

This has been a Beefheart/Weird Al/Zappa lesson brought to you by me, Axel.

  5. Stephen says:

That was really funny and awesome!

  6. M_pony says:

Wow, that really is funny. Though I have to admit I’m too lame to know any Captain Beefheart references.

  7. Axel says:

As many times I have seen this, I just now got the Captain Beefheart reference. Gotta love Al

  8. “Dan Boone and his Transvestite Friend”. Wow that was funny. I really like Weird Al. It’s the regular people that become famous that are my favorites. He’s just plain cool. I also like the “Just beat me up” parts. Those are classic. I was also the kid that got Notebook Filler Paper for birthdays and Christmas. I guess my parents wanted me to be a writer or something. Good thing that never happen, I can barely spell. Thanks for the great video. It was a joy to watch.

  9. John Gundich says:

I love the water missile of death.
