Watch the Full Nerdist Industries 2015 Comic-Con Panel

Last year, at Comic-Con 2014, I was on my very first panel: the Nerdist Industries panel. And while I was a bit terrified of getting up on stage and saying something stupid, I soon realized that getting together with some of the biggest Nerdist fans around alongside my Nerdist colleagues and friends is one of the most fun experiences a shy lil’ editor like myself can have.

This year, I stepped on stage as Nerdist’s new Editor-in-Chief, along with the people who have built the brand and community up to the wonderful, wacky thing it is today: the Nerdist himself, Chris Hardwick; our ship’s captain, Nerdist Industries President Adam Rymer, Nerdist News‘ badass leader Jessica Chobot; Senior Editor and spelunker of The Dan Cave, Dan Casey; our endlessly chill Gaming Editor, Nerdist: PlayMalik Forte; host of our new show Celebrity Playlist and Music Editor Matt Grosinger; Because Science whizz extraordinaire Kyle Hill; and the brains behind the podcast network, Podcast Producer Katie Levine.

We were also joined by Nerdist Presents: The Hive director David Yarovesky, who debuted the first trailer for our upcoming horror thriller to our rapt panel audience and spoke a bit about the filmmaking process. Chris shared some excellent news about @midnight’s renewal, the amazing Nerdist Podcast Live line-up (Sir Ben Kingsley, Peter Capaldi, Maisie Williams, Tom Hiddleston, and Guillermo del Toro!?), and his exciting moderating schedule at SDCC. After Chris had to jet off to Tarantino’s Hateful Eight panel, the lovely Matt Mira joined us on stage to moderate with serious aplomb. During the panel, Jessica Chobot shared what it’s like to work with other G4 alums, and the Nerdist editorial team got a chance to share their inspirations and hopes for the site going into the future. If you’re a fan of pretty much anything we do here at Nerdist, this video’s worth a watch. Also you get a taste of what it is like to work with Matt and Kyle:
