This Week at NerdMelt Showroom: Summahfest, @midnight, and More!

NerdMelt Showroom

Schools might be starting up around the country but it’s still summer, which means it’s still “summah” too. This week at the NerdMelt Showroom at Meltdown Comics in Los Angeles will be a hot one with Summahfest, more @midnight, Adjust Your Tracking screening, Baby Talk with Dan Levy, and more!

August 10th at 2pm it’s Summahfest!

Every year, The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail throws a party, hosted by Howard Kremer, to honor the amazingness that is summah. That’s not a typo: it’s summah, not summer. Summah is the best version of summer there is, and for the 4th year in a row, it’s also an amazing party. We’ll have water slides, hula hoops, chewing gum, leis, water guns, a DJ, food, booze, and at the end of a sun-soaked day, a comedy show! Best of all, it’s all FREE!

On Saturday, August 10th at 2pm, come and behold the wonders of Summahfest with us.

Summahfest starts at 2pm!

The show will start around 6pm with: Jonah RayKumail NanjianiPaul DankeJim HamiltonDJ DouggpoundApril RichardsonSteve AgeeChris FairbanksKyle Kinane, and a musical performance by Nova Rockafeller.

August 11th at 8pm it’s Harmontown!

What is Harmontown? It’s awesome. It’s unique. It’s one of a kind. It’s something only Dan Harmon (creator of Community and the upcoming Rick and Morty) and Jeff B. Davis (Whose Line is it Anyway) can do. It’s a different show every time and it’s every week. Lucky us! Playing Dungeons and Dragons? It’s happened. Dan Harmon freestyle rapping? Yup, that too. Calling Chevy Chase from stage? Happened…more than once. A celebrity guest? Allison Brie, Donald Glover, and Gillian Jacobs among others have all stopped in. Getting super personal with an intimate audience? Always. It’s Harmontown. It’s awesome. It’s unique. Don’t miss a single week.
