These THE HATEFUL EIGHT Figurines Are Gloriously Retro

The outfits from Quentin Tarantino‘s latest film, The Hateful Eight, are pretty epic. And with these little authorized figurines from NECA, you can obtain that extreme attention to detail in miniature form!

Each 8″ action figurine for the eight major characters is outrageously dressed in the exact same style and detail as the live-action characters. This includes small character details such as John Ruth’s pipe and rifle, Daisy Domergue’s shackles, Bob’s knife, and more, all captured inside a beautifully designed window-box package.

The Hateful Eight costume designer, Courtney Hoffman, pulled inspiration from a wide variety of western flicks–each specifically approved by Tarantino, of course. From a pop of Kill Bill-esque yellow in the lining of Major Marquis’ coat to the Confederate decoration of General Smithers’ worn-in jacket, every bit of the wardrobe really belonged to each character’s personality. You start to get a deeper appreciation for the layer-upon-layer of winter wardrobe and accessories featured on screen with these little guys. Not to mention those exaggerated expressions on their tiny faces! 8″ frowning Daisy Domergue with a shiner is a hoot!

NECA’s The Hateful Eight production run starting in March is limited to one globally with only 3,000 figurines for the eight major characters. They’re also priced at $30 each, but that’s understandable. After all, that’s a lot of coat for such a small Major Marquis Warren. Take a look at our gallery below, and look around NECA’s online website for more realistic action figure goodies. Let us know which Hateful Eight character you’d enjoy collecting the most!
