The Nerdist Channel Presents “Ain’t It Cool with Harry Knowles” #2

This week’s edition of Ain’t It Cool with Harry Knowles finds Harry — well, actually, the Harry puppet — on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of Morgan Spurlock’s documentary Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan’s Hope. Puppet Harry interviews Spurlock, producer/legend Stan Lee, G4’s Kevin Pereira, the movie’s subjects Skip Harvey, James Darling and Se Young Darling, and some guy with whom you might be familiar named Chris Hardwick. After that, the real Harry gets a visit from writer Ernest Cline to compare toys. Watch the coolness by clicking here now.

New episodes of Ain’t it Cool are available every Thursday at the Nerdist Channel. Make sure you know exactly when they, and all Nerdist Channel shows, are posted: Subscribe by clicking here and miss none of it.

Who Is the Secret Cameo in DEADPOOL 2?

  1. Galaxim says:

HK Episode 3 now out! go visit AICN to see it. Consistently good stuff, like a twisted meta-talk show taking place from inside the Twilight Zone ((the 80s, Speilberg and Dante technicolor Twilight Zone)).

  2. ERNEST CLINE PLEASE! Thank you.

    Sincerely, Rob

  3. Galaxim says:

I remember now. I think it was the MTV game show SINGLED OUT or something. That’s where I recognize Chris Hardwick from. Then he wrote an essay in WIRED, which I subscribe to, an essay that grabbed me and made me read the entire thing. Seems he went through a very similar post-dot-com depression that most of us did. 2012 is feeling like a great year for doing some phoenix-like rebirthing, and I am looking forward to what’s coming, and thank you for the fun shows, they are very very nice.

  4. Three Toes of Fury says:

Ok…i like this show..alot…and think it has potential…HOWEVER…Harry needs to shift the focus away from it being a primarily promototional show. The first episode shilled a prop auction and this one the new comic-con documentary. In both cases its geek-centric however its starting to shift the feel of this nerdist show from “AICN movie fun” to “AICN Infomercial”. Im not trying to crap on it nor say that it cant ever try to make a buck, however i think it needs to spend more time on AICN stuff. For example the segment on this weeks that tied comics to John Wayne flicks and offered trivia about the filming near a nuclear test site was excellent. More of that please.

    Peace .n. Cinema Magic

  5. TheToiletBrush says:

Painful, unnecessary, and vile. Next week can we watch Harry open his mail in a bathrobe?

  6. Spurlock says:

    Should have been CGI.

    Puppet Harry! <3
