  1. Jesper says:

As a Dane I learned many new and untrue things about my country to day 🙂

  2. Ayesha says:

I can relate so much to Noureen; I’m a 16 year old first-generation American who’s raised by some pretty religious indian-muslim parents. I’m agnostic, but my parents refrain me from wearing sleeveless shirts, shorts, etc. for the same reasons as Noureen’s parents. I mean, at least my parents understand that I’m eventually going to do what I want to do, and respect my religious beliefs (or lack of?) But it’s still kinda hard to be an indian-american when you’re surrounded by white Americans who don’t understand your situation (and think  you should drop your culture completely) and then indian parents who integrate religion too much into culture (and make you hate some parts of being indian).
Basically, what I’m trying to say is: Noureen, I feel you.

  3. I did not know Noureen before this and I was blown away by her smarts and her views about the backlash on Muslims and the white society we live in here in the US. What a great young woman!

Loved this convo.  It’s really fun to discover new comics, actors from this podcast.
