Expect Permanent Deaths For AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR

Where in the Galaxy is Grand Admiral Thrawn?

Where in the Galaxy is Grand Admiral Thrawn?

  1. Spencer says:

Has anyone else started the new Hawkeye series that picks up right after the Avengers, if not check it out it’s a good run so far and Hawkeye is a badass

  2. ryangatts says:

The sequel to Banjo Tooie is Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts for the 360. It was originally intended to be called Banjo Threeie and basically be the same kind of game. Due to some development hell and the generational change, the game became a weird racing-lego thing.

  3. drayfish says:

If it wasn’t already clear through my fog of idiocy, what I meant to type was: ‘Alex Kidd’s fists were as big as his head’.

    …Urgh. It wasn’t worth it.

  4. phil medoc says:

TurboGrafx-16 (aka PC Engine) had a bunch of great games, actually. NEC just didn’t know what to do with the system in America, as well as not really having the marketing money to compete. Amazing titles off the top of my head:

All the Bonk games, including Air Zonk.
    Ninja Spirit
    Military Madness
    Alien Crush/Devil Crush
    Legendary Axe 1&2
    Super Star Soldier
    Blazing Lazers
    Soldier Blade
Lords of Thunder is the most metal game of all time
Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, best console version
    Splatterhouse, again best console version
    Chase HQ
Dragon’s Curse aka Wonderboy in Monsterland 2

Definitely the best system for shmups, back in the day. Worth owning for Bonk alone, those are really terrific playable games. They’re on Nintendo’s VC service.

  5. drayfish says:

    Great episode, guys.

    But poor Alex Kidd…

Sensible haircut. Romper suit. Weird obsession with defeating bad guys through arbitrary paper/scissors/rock games. He has a medical condition where his extremities swelled in size (his fists were as big as his hands, people!)

    What’s not to love?

  6. Joe says:

Hey, any single ladies on here?! Just kidding.

  7. Newo says:

All the food on Hannibal is a real could be dish, its all done by famous chef José Andrés for the show

  8. PCMan says:

I had both the Sega Master System and TurboGrafx 16. Bonk was the only good game on the TurboGrafx system. I don’t remember if this game was included with the system, but I do remember having a Bonk demo game.

Sega Master System had another marquee game, Space Harrier, that was supposed to be like Flash Gordon. That was an okay game because there was a 3D element to that game and you had to use the light gun.

  9. drayfish says:

I am just about to listen to the podcast, and can’t wait to hear about my favourite mascot: Seaman for the Sega Dreamcast…

Mmm hmmm. That’s some mighty fine anthropomorphic horror.

  10. ronaldm says:

The deadpan, preening “It’s a me… Mario” was GOLDEN. Also, loved the Sonic/Clinton connection.

  11. Sheldon J says:

I feel like you missed a couple of mascots like; James Pond, Joe and Mac, and that’s all I can think of.
Good call on Bubsy, I used to play that game and my friends didn’t get it, I don’t know if it was too conceptual or if I was just better at games than them but I loved it.

  12. Nick says:

Polygon man is a boss fight in Playstation All-stars now.

  13. Mccrackelz says:

look, the second Gex (enter the gecko) is a FINE piece of video entertainment. Gould was hilarious, the settings were fully realized, and despite being the second game i ever owned I tried it out on an emulator last year and still had a blast.

Gex doesn’t get enough love is all I’m saying…. the second one anyway.

  14. sharkforexample says:

you guys, what happened to dominic’s face D:

  15. rhys says:

The Americans is a great show. Highly recommend it. Watch the first episode. You’ll either be completely sold on it or know it’s not something you are interested in.

  16. Mescalineous says:

Why should you always use protection with a video game prostitute?

  17. Ben Clarkson says:

Lets get real for a minute.

Conker’s Bad Fur Day is one of the best games of all time.

  18. Brook Perkins says:

The fast talking Micro Machines / FedEx guy is John Moschitta Jr. He also did the voice of Blurr on Transformers. Really enjoy the show. Thank you. Not a big video game player myself but its helped me understand what my son is enjoying so much.

  19. Ross says:

Yeah, Mario would take pictures and sign autographs… Sonic would ask for money or offer to fellate any available males for drugs

  20. Emily says:

Clay, thank you for sounding off about graduate school. I guess what I meant to say was that once you get into grad school, you are less concerned with how high your scores are. You either pass, which means you go to all the classes, write all the papers, make all the presentations, and go to all the internships, or you don’t do that stuff and you fail. And yes, any grade below a B is failure.

  21. novaseason says:

Still working on Bioshock. It is amazing. THanks for telling us when the spoilers were in the last episode Emily. I listened to everything except the last seven minutes last week. that was nice.

  22. Joshua Bryan Hammack says:

Dear Indoor Kids. I finished Bioshock Infinite over the weekend. It was wonderful. What bearing on Emily and Kumail’s life does this achievement have.? Absolutely nothing. What does it have for Joshua’s life? Well he got to experience a wonderful story and no has 3 Indoor Kids podcast to listen to. Thanks again.

  23. Daevid says:

    I know a boy.
    His name is Zack.
    He loves to build.
    He loves to stack.
    Yes, construction is his knack.
    He’s Zack, the lego maniac.

  24. @Clay_57 says:

Not sure if things have changed since I finished grad school, but we definitely were ‘graded’. Although anything lower than a B was basically considered failing. So any class you earned a C in meant it had to be repeated the following semester.
