Science Explains Why Your Cat Keeps Knocking Stuff Over

  1. JessMess92 says:

Infamous also has reavers or reapers not sure which one it is 🙂

  2. Fantas says:

@Robin: But they’re licensed therapists and stand-up comics! They’re so busy! They have no time to finish a three year old game they’re making a podcast about!

Just kidding. They don’t know what the hell they’re talking about. Hopefully they’ll keep getting informed guests to set them straight.

  3. DanD says:

These are all the amazing covers you were taking about.

  4. Robin says:

Finish the fucking game before bitching about peeps birching about the ending. I had to stop listening dead stop right there. LOST ALL RESPECT.

  5. Matt says:

I’m glad/disappointed that someone else has already answered the question of what happens during the Rachni mission if you killed the Rachni in ME2. I was pretty disappointed that the mission is the same whether you killed them or not, but that is my beef with the ME series in general: they make a big deal about choice and consequences, but everyone plays more or less the same game.

  6. WesFX says:

Another episode I’ll be skipping. I might play Mass Effect some day.

  7. Lydia says:

I think you have to have a dumb ol’ subscription to the New Yorker to read this, but they had a good interview with the lady who does the female Shepard’s voice. It’s good!
    There’s audio too:

On wanting to change video game plots: the only one I’ve really felt strongly about is SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT I just do not want that quest to kill Paarthurnax in Skyrim to exist. It made me so angry when Esbern asked me to do that! Luckily, there’s a mod for that. (And, yes, I understand that those games are about tough decisions and make you do a lot of things that are unpalatable to you. I don’t really think they shouldn’t have put that in in the first place. I just got really attached to that dragon.)

  8. Kyle S. says:

You only need an EMS score of 4000 to get the “best” ending, patastic.

  9. patastic says:

I don’t want to have to play a bunch of multiplayer to get the readiness up high enough to get the best ending. Also it goes down over time so before you get to the end make sure to save, quit, then play enough multiplayer to get the readiness up to 6000. My first play threw only got up around 4000. I did every side mission I could and no multiplayer. When I learned about this “readiness” crap I was pissed.

  10. Patastic says:

Check the camel toe on EDI. Those pervs who did the texture really need to get laid. How is that not the real issue for goodness sake, kids play this game.

  11. BFox5000 says:

You guys should really hook up with the Angry Video Game Nerd ( He just relocated to LA to shoot his feature. There’s so much potential there.

  12. cmonnowsrsly says:

(Hmm. Can’t delete my own posts either, apparently. Again, sorry for the triple post earlier… I’ll make sure to comment from home.)

Last thoughts on the subject: Once you beat the game and you don’t mind spoilers, I suggest going to the Demand A New Ending… Facebook page and scrolling through the comments. It’s just people finding solidarity through mutual disappointment. It really is like watching people go through the different stages of grief. Seeing nerds attacking other nerds over their unhappiness with the ME3 ending is just unbelievably silly. It’s nerds attacking nerds for doing the exact same things THEY would do under different circumstances: get a little obsessive and way too emotionally involved with something that isn’t, y’know, other human beings. If you switched the context a little bit and this movement was coalescing around a Doctor Who series finale that ended on a cliffhanger and then the show got cancelled… this would be a different conversation entirely.

And also: comparing other people to Annie Wilkes from Misery is the “airplane food jokes” of arguments.
