Science Explains Why Your Cat Keeps Knocking Stuff Over

Science Explains Why Your Cat Keeps Knocking Stuff Over

  1. Matt Rebel says:

triptophantasy star!!!!!  you’re welcome @kumailn.  and it relates to old genesis games, which was one of my favorites back in the day….I am amazing

  2. Pieter says:

This is not a critisism, just an observation, but the intro of this episode takes up 23.8% of the entire episode.

    • Pieter says:

edit: I wrote the previous comment in kind of a hurry and didn’t have more time to go into detail and since I saw a tweet from Emily that I hope is not about my comment I’d like to explain.
The intro started off as just a few minutes to mention the sponsor and introduce the guest. If many people are like me, though, they don’t just listen to the podcast for the guests. They listen for the hosts. So I think it’s a nice development to see the hosts claim a larger part of the podcast as their own (23.8% in this episode).

  3. CJ says:

The best Atari 2600 game ever was SPIDER FIGHTER.
It’s extremely fast and exciting, where the majority of those games were static dogshit.

  4. Tom says:

It’s taking me a bit to get into Dragon Age Inquisition as well.  I’m sure I will, but I think the open worldedness is a bit overwhelming compared to the linear story lines of the previous games.  It’s taking me a bit to get my bearings.  The first in the series is my second favorite Bioware game.  Just a notch behind KOTOR!

  5. Justin says:

You make me REALLY want to go out and drop money on Dragon Age. Really want it now!

    • Tom says:

It might be worth checking out Dragon Age: Origins if your wary.  It’s dirt cheap now and still a lot of fun.  I’ve played through it several times in the past few years.

  6. JimDime says:

I absolutely love Dragon Age (60 hours in and going strong), but I would not in a million years have suggested Kumail and Emily play it.  Especially with it being the third in a series that really builds on itself.

  7. Seamonster says:

For me, the best movie to game adaption was Rockstar’s “The Warriors”. Really fun beat ’em up that allows you to take cocaine (“Flash”) to regain health.

Glad Jon Daly made it on here, he’s hilarious. I was hoping for some Sappity Tappity, but that would be a crazy podcast mash up.
Also, it’d be the Tryptophantom Hourglass.

  8. Wildride says:

I often play old Apple ][ games on linapple of Linux — But that’s not important right now. 😉
