Who Is the Secret Cameo in DEADPOOL 2?

  1. Scott says:

Love the show, but the intro kids thing is getting a bit old.

  2. Conner Fields says:

I’ve known about TV Tropes for awhile now (no disrespect). You should do a show on Continue?876543210.

  3. Fartbooty says:

Love the artwork, did a fan make it?

  4. Alec says:

Half-Life’s take-your-stuff-away moment was pretty awesome, too.

  5. badabingo says:

I don’t even play video games but I love this podcast. You guys are pretty much the best couple ever – so adorable but not pukey adorable. Chicken sandwich!

  6. WetNightmare says:

You guys forgot Silent Hill 2! It had a “No Gear” moment towards the end where you had to place all of your weapons and belongings in a dumbwaiter in order to descend to the basement … and it was HORRIFYING.

  7. Jon says:

Kumail had to “pee” again in this episode. I can’t wait to find out what really happened next week.

  8. Adru says:

Good ep! I think there can be a whole podcast dedicated to discussing video game tropes.

I have a love/hate relationship with the video game trope Amnesiac Protagonist. Some of my favorite games/series revolve around this trope (Final Fantasy, Harvest Moon) and pull it off well (Bioshock), but it has become a storytelling crutch for games. And for JRPGs, it seems to have defined the genre.

  9. Al says:

    Super cool header graphic.

  10. Fartbooty says:

    Captain Planet had a mullet

  11. GooseGanja says:

Love the show! Now my two favorite podcasts are on one network … Indoor Kids and It’s That Episode, but where’s Craig this week Nerdist?

  12. Wildride says:

No, no — A neck brace is the complete opposite of an owl. Owl=a lot of head turning. Neck brace=no head turning. Now, if you were wearing an eye brace …

  13. Matt says:

Idea for how to make people feel bad for playing easy mode: character turns into Sisto.

  14. brewchee says:

That pause that the end of the episode totally got me, thanks Kumailmily.
