THE FORCE AWAKENS Cast Got Schooled in STAR WARS Trivia By a Child

If being able to pass a Star Wars trivia contest were a requirement to be cast in a Star Wars film, we probably wouldn’t be talking about John Boyega and Daisy Ridley as the newest stars of The Force Awakens, especially when a small child could answer those very same trivia questions.

Okay, in fairness it was a Star Wars genius child. But still!

On Jimmy Kimmel Live the cast of Star Wars: The Force Awakens took on seven-year-old Arden Hayes in “an intergalactic battle of trivia” known as “Ard Wars.” The “quizmaster and judge”? None other than the movie’s director, J.J. Abrams.

Taking on Arden the “Dark Lord of Trivia,” was Ridley and Boyega, along with Adam Driver and Carrie Fisher. Although, with teams that uneven Kimmel decided Arden might need a little help, so out came R2-D2 to assist.

This was a bloodbath. As Kimmel asked the thoroughly defeated cast by the end, “Have any of you seen Star Wars?”

“I studied for this, genuinely,” said Ridley. (Which just makes this even sadder.)

Young Arden answered every question but one during the contest, including this stumper: “During the Battle of Yavin, Jek Porkins was assisted by which astromech droid?”

R5-D8, obviously! Yeah…obviously. Who didn’t know that? Not impressed Arden! (…OK so no, I didn’t know that one. Arden is amazing.)

For his performance, Arden was given a whole bunch of Star Wars gifts, of which I’m sure he’ll go home and accurately identify their authenticity.

How many of these questions did you know the correct answer to? Which ones stumped you? Tell us in the comments below.
