8 TV Shows That Deserve to Win an Emmy

On September 20, Hollywood’s best and brightest stars of the small screen will squeeze into the Nokia Theater in downtown Los Angeles for the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards. Hosted by Andy Samberg (Brooklyn 99SNL), the award show will celebrate the greatest accomplishments in television from the 2014-2015 season. With fan favorites like Game of ThronesModern Family, and American Horror Story: Freak Show netting nominations, many have begun speculating who exactly will win big at this year’s award show.

Rather than feed your gambling addiction, today on The Dan Cave, I am throwing down the gauntlet and letting you know which shows actually deserve to win an Emmy — regardless of whether or not they were actually nominated. Because why let a whole academy of stuffy white dudes tell you what show to watch when one, unstuffy white dude can tell you? All kidding aside, the programs selected on today’s episode are worthy of accolade and well worth your time. So kick back, relax, and start binge-watching because you’re going to want to be all caught up come Emmy o’clock.
