STARS WARS REBELS to Unveil Two New Episodes at New York Comic Con

Fans who saw the second season premiere of Star Wars Rebels earlier this summer know that—spoiler alert!—Darth Vader has arrived…and he’s giving the crew of the Ghost far more than they can handle! Not only is Vader hunting them down, the Empire has dispatched a new pair of Inquisitors. Fortunately for the Ghost’s crew, their new friend, Ahsoka Tano (Ashley Eckstein) has allies of her own.

At this year’s New York Comic Con, two new episodes of Star Wars Rebels will be shown for the first time. And one of the episodes features the long-awaited returns of Captain Rex, Captain Gregor, and Commander Wolffe from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series.

The Star Wars Rebels episodes will be screened at 5:30pm on Thursday, October 8th, which is also the first day of New York Comic Con. Additionally, there will a Star Wars Rebels panel at 1:30pm, also on the 8th. However, a list of panelists for that one has not yet been released.

Returning for the second season of Star Wars Rebels are Taylor Gray as Ezra Bridger, Freddie Prinze, Jr. as Kanan Jarrus, Vanessa Marshall as Hera Syndulla, Tiya Sircar as Sabine Wren, and Steven Blum as Zeb Orrelios. Eckstein will recur as Ahsoka, and James Earl Jones will continue to provide the voice of Darth Vader.

New episodes of Star Wars Rebels begin this fall on Disney XD.
