Sneaky Zebra Pay Tribute to Leonard Nimoy in Their New Cosplay Video

The most deceptive equine guys we know are back with their brand-new cosplay video paying tribute to Leonard Nimoy. Check out Sneaky Zebra’s latest video: Live Long.

Using the inspirational convocation address Nimoy gave back on May 19, 2012 at the College of Fine Arts at Boston University, The Sneaky Zebra boys combined all sorts of footage they’ve filmed at conventions in the past to give us another epic cosplay video.

After the video, Gary explains that he grew up a big Star Trek fan and felt he needed to do something to honor Nimoy. “I wanted to do something on this channel to commemorate the passing of the great Leonard Nimoy,” he explained, “as soon as I heard this address I knew what I wanted to make, this video, a different style of cosplay video than we normally do!”

In our opinion there aren’t many ways to better honor a man like Nimoy than to showcase people displaying their hard work and passion for cosplaying at events that stand for pride in sci-fi and fantasy creations. The speech, which you can watch on YouTube here, is for those wanting to create and for those who constantly strive for something better.

Nimoy’s inspirational words certainly ring true for cosplayers and content creators alike: “You are the creators and the curators of your own lives. You create your own life and your work. Give us your best. Give us the best of your art. We crave it. We hunger for it. Help us to see ourselves, to know ourselves. Illuminate our lives.”

It’s a fact that Sneaky Zebra and their videos definitely help illuminate ours.

So many characters in the video! My top 3 have to be Axel Foley, Baby Nibbler & Edge of Tomorrow. What are your favorites? Let us know in the comments.
