Relive the Magic On The Nerdist Podcast Network

The Nerdist Podcast has been the flagship of the whole Nerdist Empire since all the way back in 2010 and has wracked up over 400 episodes in its continuing mission to observe, conquer, and delight any who have listened. Some people might not have been with us since the beginning, and some people might just want to go back and listen to earlier episodes again, and for these people, we’re pleased to announce the creation of the YouTube version of the Nerdist Podcast Network!

The Nerdist Podcast Network is a YouTube channel on which you can listen to the first 100 episodes of the Nerdist Podcast and marvel at the early days of greatness. Remember when Matt still worked at the Apple Store? Remember when Jonah yet hadn’t seen Ray Donovan? Remember before there were any Hostfuls? Seems almost too long ago to fathom. Now, you can relive all these days as if they were yesterday, or as if they were recorded for posterity, which is more accurate. For instance, you can listen to Episode 1 with Thomas Lennon, Episode 28 with Rich Sommer, or the above, Episode 63 with Wil Wheaton! They’re all there!

Subscribe to the Nerdist Podcast Network to get access to all the first 100, then you can listen to them while whittling on your front porch rocking chair, thinking about the olden days.

Who Is the Secret Cameo in DEADPOOL 2?

  1. JetpackBlues says:

    Ah, nostalgia.

Who would have ever thought the podcast would have gone this far, this long?

Double-Dubs was the only guest I’ve ever requested, and when it happened (not because of my request) it was a joyous juxtaposition.

There have been many guests that have come on since that I have thoroughly enjoyed, but none with the same history, stories or connection.

  2. Andrew says:

Couldn’t help but notice the mythical episode 29 still exists only in the hushed whispers of Nerdist podcaster listeners the world over.

  3. Jungmark says:

Hot damn. I thought they secretly filmed the eps and are showing them now. Or someone built animation around them!

  4. Dan Casey says:

@Cassandra, as far as I can tell, people were already ripping the podcasts and putting them up online under their own channels. It makes more sense that we’d be the ones to curate that content rather than third parties.

  5. Cassandra says:

Cool I guess but why? Aren’t all the old eps available on iTunes?

  6. Jeff Smith says:

Umm, that should be “racked up” episodes, not “wracked up.”

  7. Anthony says:

Yay! Dig into the archives to find out when “Enjoy your burrito!” was coined. Or reminisce about the awkward Christian singers God’s Pottery (a comedy group). The eps before and after becoming Legendary.

  8. Alex says:

    @Patty Marvel

Just looked in the Apple Podcasts app, can still access every episode through the Add Old Episodes button.

@Alex – “Just looked in the Apple Podcasts app, can still access every episode through the Add Old Episodes button.”

Oh, THANKS! I’ll look for that button!

  9. Patty Marvel says:

Oh, dear! Does this mean we can access the first 100 ONLY through this subscription or is this just an additional means? I ask because I didn’t start listening until They Might Be Giants were on and have gone back into only a tiny bit of the back catalog.

  10. Picklemeth says:

I don’t want to think about a world in which Jonah Ray Donovan doesn’t exist. Fuck you, Nerdist!
