Rancid, Dropkick Murphys & Refused To Play 2015’s Punk Rock Bowling Festival

In 1999, Punk Rock Bowling started as an independent party for the music community. However, in the 16 years since its inception, it’s grown into a 3-day festival in Las Vegas that’s become a destination for fans and bands all over the world.

During the action-packed weekend, Vegas comes alive with 3 days of outdoor festivals, 4 nights of club shows, a 2-day bowling tournament, hotel pool parties, a punk-rocker poker tournament and a bunch of comedy shows that’ll make you laugh after a hard weekend spent rocking out.

Fans that’ve been itching to book their trip can finally press “submit” because the weekend’s headlining acts have been announced and the bill is INSANE!

With Rancid having released their latest album this October—the first since 2009’s Let The Dominos Fall, we can’t wait to see the punk rock legends perform their classics along with tunes from …Honor Is All We Know.

Other notable acts on this year’s bill include Dropkick Murphys, Refused, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Murder City Devils, Conflict, Discharge, Turbonegro, Bad Manners, and Sick Of It All, Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine, Anti-Flag, Swingin’ Utters, A Wilhelm Scream, The Business, Bombshell Rocks, The Muffs, Mahones, Sniper 66, PEARS, I.R.A., Success!, Get Dead, Avenue Rockers, Eliza Battle, Sounds of Threat, and Battle Born.

In other words, it’s a punk-rocker’s paradise; and we can’t wait to bowl and flash the devil horns.

The festival will take place May 22-25, 2015, and tickets go on sale January 10, 2015.

Maybe it’s my state of mind but this headline took me a minute to understand. Would have been less confusing if worded this way: REFUSED, RANCID AND DROPKICK MURPHYS TO PLAY 2015’S PUNK ROCK BOWLING FESTIVAL

Finally: A reason to go to Vegas that wasn’t inspired by “The Hangover” movies.
