Preview: BOOM! Studios’ CAPTURE CREATURES Looks Monstrously Fun

If you want to be the very best like no one ever was, that’s all well and good, but there’s more to living in a world of adorable animals that are forced into brutal bouts of ritualized combat that collecting gym badges and obsessively wandering through tall grass. What about their sudden, mysterious appearance? What about the origin of these fantastical creatures? These are the questions examined in Capture Creatures, the new comic from Frank Gibson and Becky Dreistadt.

Originating as a side project on their web comic Tiny Kitten TeethCapture Creatures soon amassed more than 143 different creatures in its arsenal — complete with evolved forms — and after a successful Kickstarter campaign, it is coming to comic book stores near you through BOOM! Studios’ all-ages KaBOOM! imprint. Though the comic doesn’t hit store shelves until November 26, we have a preview gallery of Capture Creatures #1 as well as three variant covers that will have you drooling in anticipation.
