  1. Sunshine says:

EPIC with captions on. Would’ve been nothing without them.

  2. Deltus says:

    Shrimp biites can be nasti…

That video was pure excellence all around.

  3. John says:

I have never seen Muppet shrimp before. So, um, cute actually…

  4. chrys says:

I’m mad that I just saw this on my own… Knowing others laughed at it doesn’t make me feel less dorky.

  5. Giggleloop says:

Ha! This was awesome. My hubby uses that song as a music bed for his movie review show that he does on YouTube, so we both LOL’d hearing it used on a Muppet video. So cool! 🙂

  6. Arlene C. Harris says:

a popcorn shrimp once bit my sister…

    /python rulz

  7. taylor says:

    popcorn shrimp mmmmmmmmmhhhhhhhhhhh

  8. ian says:

maybe he’s trying to make a prawn cocktail and got lost in translation?

(the words are just gibberish, anglo-swedish-sounding stuff, mr caption-writer!)

  9. I tried this recipe, and it didn’t work for me at ALL.

  10. Catie says:

The Swedish Chef has always been and will continue to be my dream man. Love this video!!!

  11. Maddie says:

    Fookin prawns!!

  12. HyMyNameIsMatt says:

I’m confused, are the shrimp better off dieing in a boiling pot or in The Gulf Coast of Mexico?

  13. JoJo says:

I second Nick’s emotion. I don’t really care for muppet/human Splice-d hybrids. We’ll end up in the stockpot.

  14. Patti says:

How cute were the little shrimp?? Awww! How many bags of popcorn were in that microwave? Like 6?? LOL! Great, great stuff. Whoever made the comment about felt hands, the chef always had regular hands. Thanks for sharing, Chris. That “Popcorn” song takes me back, man. Love it!

  15. Barny Boo says:

    Such a happy video.
The direct comments from the caption writer remind me of the opening to Monty Python’s Holy Grail. Smiles all around!

  16. nintendotodd says:

Ahhh!!! I love the Muppets! And I love the Swedish Chef most of all. And I TOTALLY had that new wave synth pop jam on cassette when I was a wee Todd. Good Lord n’ Taylor! I guess I really *AM* a nerdlet!

  17. ZebraBob says:

    Eeng Bork Bork Bork!

Shrimp and Lobsters really get the best of that lovable Swede!

  18. Kijan says:

i love your love for muppets! btw i made a request on the bill burr post : )

  19. Nick says:

A little weirded out they don’t put the felt gloves over the hands anymore.

  20. Chris and the chef look very similar.

  21. Ivonne says:

    jajajajajajajajajajaja this is so smart!

  22. Neal Dawson says:

Yeahhhhhh, first comment bitches. He should have his own day time cooking show on a popular station which I cannot name for legal reasons,or he could just have his own station. I’d watch it t’ill my eye balls were as cooked as his famous Spaghetti with meatballs,or in this case Frankfurt.

  23. Steve says:

The captions make it. So damn clever. Swedish Chef rules!
