New Doctor Who Theme

Digging the re-record. I, for one, am VERY excited about the new series. Granted, David Tennant was my fave but as someone who’s come onto pre-existing shows I would like to give Matt Smith every fair attention and approach the 11th Doctor with an open mind. It can’t be easy to follow Tennant, so I applaud Mr. Smith!

Best to you, Sir! I shall be watching!

Good to see so many Dr Who fans!

  2. Mattz Hater says:

Your an idiot.. read the thread Rob has been spamming and being crude to everyone since thread start… Rob Hater was just putting him back in his place and I actually commend him for it. I think you have been drinking toilet water way to long yourself you wanker…

  3. Mattz says:

Now this is what is called “internet fight”. Now whoever is putting STUPID comments, bugger off and do something useful, while we discuss the big bang!

and Rob Hater, go drink from the toilet, to keep you busy from spamming! šŸ™‚

bye guys! off to watch chicken nuggets vs screwballs!

  4. j says:

I kind of agree with Rob here, been watching the show since the pertwee era even on video in the wilderness years – patrick troughton being my favorite whom matt smith is capable of emulating -he is a lot like him! rather than just playing to the masses or trying to win over tennant fans Not sure about the new tardis a bit to sarah jane adventures as are the titles but the theme is a grower. lots of potential if given the time to mature into the role.
The stories are not bad, but could loose the companions without too much fuss as it worked better for tennant in the last few stories makes him darker or tortured soul ..which is good

  5. Erika says:

Whoa! Internet Fight! And now I feel like a little kid back on the school playground that is just instigating the fight. I can’t help it, it just makes me laugh so hard. That said. I totally enjoy the New Doctor, Matt Smith really just goes for it. I am looking forward to the return of the Weeping Angels–those things scare the shit out of me.

  6. Shawn says:

Rob, why all the hate? I have likely been watching longer than you have been alive. My comment wasn’t so much about it being a money-maker as it was about production value… let’s face it, although the show has been producing interesting stories for a long, long time, the show has generally not had very good sets or special effects. That is not to say that a show has to be “pretty” to get its story across, but honestly it has been so bad at times as to be downright //distracting.// Prior to Tennant my favorite Doctor was Baker, and perhaps my favorite story arc was the introduction of Davros and the big story-arc during that season… but do you remember what some of those shows looked like? I mean it is pretty bad when the creaking of wood in various sets becomes so loud as people move around that it starts to interfere with the story. And don’t even get me started on the “K-9” spinoff. Yes the show has had some production value in the past, and yes I’m well-aware of the BBC’s butchering of episodes for its release world-wide for many decades now and the money it has brought, but I’ve always felt that it was capable of so very much more. I mean look at the opening sequence of last series’ Doctor Who… it looked atrocious. I have seen better intros designed by Whovian fans released onto YouTube who are in fact in high school. There is just no excuse for that, and I am glad that they have corrected some of these issues. It is great that the intro looks respectable now, and that the TARDIS set is so large and detailed compared to sets of the past. I also think the supporting casts’ acting is much improved. Yeah the Doctor has been popular in the past, but I think that with this new treatment it has a lot of potential to be much, much bigger than it ever has in the past. That has not happened before, therefore that means to some degree the BBC was not aware of its potential. In fact if you are familiar with the return of the Doctor to the BBC you probably know all about how the head of BBC Programming initially fought against its return tooth and nail, going so far as to say the Doctor would never return while they were in charge. So clearly the BBC has not always had the same vision that they do now. That is all I am saying.

  7. Meagan says:

Okay, Rob, maybe you take a chill pill. God, so mean over a show. I mean I am a pretty big Doctor Who nerd, but I would never be blatantly cruel.

To quote my first grade teacher, since we seem to be back in first grade except with bigger and more angry words, “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.”

  8. Wesley Marshall says:

Have you seen the first two episodes of the new season? They are amazing.

  9. Jonathan D. Silva says:

Doctor Who: Interview with the new doctor and his sidekick on Fox Strategy Room.

  10. Rob Hater says:

Enough with your asshole comments, toward other users. Don’t say anything unless its productive, and obviously your worthless soul has nothing of worth to say… so in behalf of all the users you keep berating.. FUCK OFF!
