The Hillywood Show

Nerdist Presents: The LORD OF THE RINGS and FROZEN Mashup Parody by THE HILLYWOOD SHOW

Hilly and Hannah Hindi have done it again. The dynamic sister duo is part of the Nerdist Alliance and have created another dramatic yet amusing parody for the latest episode of The Hillywood Show®. Last time we saw them in action, they were sharing the screen with zombies in a play on The Walking Dead, and this time, well, they’ve taken the ring to Mordor in a parody of The Lord of the Rings.

Hilly stars as Samwise Gamgee, and Hannah plays the role of Frodo. They go on adventures through Middle-earth that lead to the fires of Mount Doom and when it comes time to put the One Ring to rest, Sam tells Frodo to “Let It Go.” Yes, the Hindis have succeeded in taking the popular tune from Frozen and making it work exceptionally well with Lord of the Rings-inspired lyrics. They deserve their own rings of power for that. Powerful vocals by Andrew Bates and Brian Hall bring it all together.

As with all The Hillywood Show® videos, the Hindis have nailed it when it comes to costumes, makeup, and presenting the overall look of the film. They don’t kid around when it comes to production value. I’m sure Hilly’s experiences with Middle-earth help. She won a trip to the 2003 premiere of The Return of the King in Wellington, New Zealand, and interviewed the cast of the film on the red carpet for AOL. I’m surprised she didn’t just move into the Shire and never leave.
