Science Explains Why Your Cat Keeps Knocking Stuff Over

  1. Groof says:

Toward the end you mentioned Neko Case, but you just referred to her as “Neko” and the way you pronounced it made me do a double-take: “Nico’s gonna be in a show? Like, Velvet Underground Marble Index Nico? I thought she was dead…oh wait, Neko Case, okay.”
This was such a groovy episode. I just got St. Vincent the other week. Such an awesome artist, and I’m so happy to see her on comedy podcasts!

  2. StuartB says:

7th Street Entry! Not a bad venue, and right next to the legendary First Avenue!

Always awesome hearing Minneapolis references and love on the podcast.

  3. Kyle says:

It would be great if you guys did segments with artists where they would cover frat boy versions of their own songs.

  4. Chris, you might have been thinking of Amanda Palmer doing the Radiohead covers.

Great interview all around. Made me love St.Vincent even more to hear how cool she is. 😀

  5. Bob says:

For being nerdists these guys are surprisingly ignorant about a number of things that they’re supposedly passionate about (Louie’s show, music, Annie’s music, Inxs album covers, etc.).

  6. dana says:

i love her even more now!

  7. Suki smeg (Sukismeg) says:

St Vincent’s speaking voice sounds so much like veronica bellmont. She is very interesting and a great guest but it is so odd.

  8. jhg says:

jonah mentioned INXS videogame, but Journey had a game on the Atari 2600 before them by a bit. ;P god i hated that game lol….

  9. JJ says:

    She’s awesome! Great podcast.

  10. Zach says:

Soooo AIDS brought them together but nothing can tear them apart! LOL Sorry I had to, anyway great podcast.

  11. Jesse says:

Christopher! I know you are a busy man, but it feels like you’ve had a rash of trying to end the podcast early the last several episodes. Don’t be afraid to let it go long! If it’s a great ep, people would love to listen for an extra half hour.

Thanks for all the entertainment! Annie Clark is an awesome chick.

  12. no exit says:

such a phenomenal show. winner. new album so perfect too.

  13. erik2690 says:

    Fun episode. Thanks.

  14. BassBone says:

I’d like to see the Nerdist boys interview a musician working in something other than pop/rock/country music. Maybe a jazz musician, maybe a classical musician. Perhaps a member of a local orchestra? Someone not famous. I think that would be awesome.

  15. mistletoe says:

    Annie Clark is amazing.

  16. Brian says:

I was literally JUST listening to her and David Byrne’s performance of “Road to nowhere”
