Where in the Galaxy is Grand Admiral Thrawn?

Where in the Galaxy is Grand Admiral Thrawn?

  1. Patick says:

Jonah, As someone who went to High School in Yreka, I can say that there IS a place open around 6am (other than a meth den)…WAL MART. That’s it though… Also, I’ve never had any problems at that Black Bear and I was a decked out in punk rock attire at all times back then. Rednecks may look intimidating, but they are usually harmless.

  2. xXiwantcoffeeXx says:

“Being in a band is all about, like…synced periods” -Gerard Arthur Way

  3. William says:

“Blue balls for teenagers.” <—Summary for the Twilight series.

  4. Kevie (rhymes with Chevy) says:

I haven’t heard that much of his music (not a huge music buff), but I like listening to most of your guests anyway whether I know who they are or not. Drove me nuts what he was doing with his mouth, tho. It’s like listening to a child eat, ‘cept he wasn’t eating!

I don’t mind a little ribbing about Twilight, but I don’t get why self-proclaimed nerds who champion the cause of liking the things you like regardless of what others think would make fun of Twilight based on nothing but movie clips, trailers, and hearsay. Seems like a hipster thing to do. You hate it cuz it’s cool to hate it.

    • jane says:

Can I just say I love you for this comment ^^ haha I totally agree with you on the twilight hating thing. People hate it with such a passion cause its cool to hate it. So pathetic. Sure, everyone is entitled to their own opinion but you know the people who haven’t read them/watched them a mile off cause all you have to ask is “why don’t you like it?” and they come up with the same reason the other members of their haters club use ๐Ÿ˜›

  5. jay says:

Claudio from Coheed & Cambria would be amazing. please get him on the show. hes a huge comic fan. their albums are about the comics he rights.

  6. nets says:

This was really fun and awesome! I really liked this, great jokes, topics you talked about and what you all said is making me now think threw things haha but in a good way ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. addy says:

omg gerards laugh is fucking adorable

  8. I can't says:

“The soot is in the chimney”

  9. Kay Be says:

Is text of this interview exist ? I don`t know english too well to understand all he said just by listening

  10. Terry says:

Excellent podcast. Just a really great guy who figured it out. Immediately listened to a number of My Chem’s songs again!! As far as the Jonah trolls go… – lighten up – this is comedy!! Jonah’s as self-deprecating as Chris! I, for one, appreciate Jonah’s (and Matt’s) presence as I imagine Chris does too! It makes the podcast shades more interesting and provides the necessary laughs!! Besides, take a second to listen for Jonah’s expanded knowledge of the music industry!!

  11. ABundleOfKilljoy says:

    Gerard’s laugh > Air

  12. tashabeck says:

I love how when he said “This song is about being f’ed in prison” I automatically say “Oh, you know what they do to guys like us in prison.” This is actually my life….

  13. Hemi says:

Gerard Way sounds really cute ^___^

  14. Meg says:

The band breaking up was like…. *no air*

  15. Meg says:

Gee and his picture responses on twitter.

  16. Jane says:

Great podcast! ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m a little annoyed about the twilight conversation though ๐Ÿ˜› They should really only criticize Twilight when they know the facts about the movies. Or only criticize them when they’ve watched them all/read them all. Oh well :L

  17. Queeenton!! says:

For whatever reason, I always avoided MCR even though I’d probably really like there music. After hearing this podcast and realizing that Gerard is a sweet grounded guy when you might not expect it, and I should give them a few very late listens.

Along the same lines of interest of Gerard (previously) being the front man to a successful rock band, writer and creator of a few graphic novels, and a nice/smart dude……So is Claudio Sanchez, the lead singer of Coheed and Cambria. I’m sure so many Nerdist listeners, along with me, would greatly appreciate the no-doubt epic interview/conversation that would take place if sitting in with Hardwick, Rodrigues (Ray), and Mira.

    Once again, great podcast!!

  18. curlyassassin says:

This is so cool, I’m really glad to know, that Gee’s doing well <3 And sometimes I laughd so hard I cried xD Podcast is amazing, thank you so much ^^

  19. Kristin says:

I didn’t expect to love this interview so much! Thanks, Chris. I didn’t follow their later work, but I’ll admit it, MCR’s first album is still one of my all-time favorites.

  20. Brandi says:

I miss hearing Gee’s laugh and voice. Its beautifiul <3 Glad to hear he is doing very well. I love you Gerard <3

  21. Nancy A. says:

This podcast is great like we get to know Gerard a little more and I’m laughing in most parts. It’s pretty neat and I feel like I’m sitting with them and talking about random stuff and the podcast is good at doing that. I love this and what Gerard has to say about everything in general I just love it.

  22. KillJoy says:

“WOAH NO NO NO I WANNA LIVE!” Omigod i am laughing so hard XD

  23. sarah says:

Such a great interview with Gerard! He’s such an awesome dude, been a fan for like 8 years. You guys ask fucking great questions too. I’ve never heard him answer stuff like that. So fantastic. Thanks for not cutting out the blue balls bit ’cause that shit was funny.

  24. Dulce Sรกnchez says:

  25. juliet says:

    i only came here to hear Gerard’s voice again, i miss MCR so much ;-;

  26. Jenna says:

This is a hilarious and interesting podcast. I’m a huge MCR fan and have been for 9 years but I think this would interest many people, MCR fan or not. Also,I love Gerard’s talking voice and laugh. I’m glad to hear he’s doing so well.

  27. Rowan says:

  28. Janeth says:

I love his laugh <3 Its very jaksljfjkldnscla *-*

  29. Celia says:

Can you not view this on mobile or

  30. cathlyn says:

you can’t fire me i quit is a Nirvana lyric….

  31. Frankie says:

wow laat i heard from him was back on Fuzetv but it’s awesoem to hear that he;s doing well, not to mention this is a fucking hilarious pod

  32. chris hardwick says:

@JayX: I appreciate your protecting me! But Jonah is one of my best friends and is one of the sweetest people I know. We all give each other shit in the way that best friends/brothers do so no matter what he says, I would never take it as any more than that. Plus, we’re comics so we constantly say inappropriate things at each other and laugh. All good by me! But again, thanks for looking out…

  33. TheKilljoyNotebook says:

I love Gerard, he’s such a nice guy and i still try to find out why some people hate him, btw he has a cute laugh <3

  34. Bob says:

‘you can’t hire me because i quit’

  35. *Rainbowshoes* says:

  36. Allison says:

This was such a great episode! Gerard is such a cool guy and this honestly made my day!

@JayX, honestly relax. I don’t think Jonah’s comments had any malice behind it. Besides Chris makes fun of himself constantly. It seems as though you don’t listen to them enough. Maybe you should nerd-up and do a little more research.

  37. JayX says:

Wow. I learned two things today:

    1. Gerard Way is a cool, interesting guy.
    2. Jonah is a bitter, self-centered piece of shit for always trying to embarrass Chris for his past alcoholism.

What the fuck, man? Nobody would know who this shit stain was if it weren’t for CH. He should learn to shut his fucking mouth and be more appreciative of his “friends.”

  38. Referring to bands like the lumineers and Mumford and Sons as “Frontier Rock” was hilarious.

  39. Amanda says:

You used like a really old picture of him.
