  1. Alwin says:

Ha, my first video game was Sonic too. Of course, I had to fly from the west coast to the east to play it on my cousin’s Sega Genesis.

  2. Kristin says:

Excellent podcast! I can’t stop listening to their new album.

  3. Craig says:

Fitz & The Tantrums cover The Eurythmics!

  4. Jack M says:

I’ve gotta say, I didn’t love this podcast. It wasn’t bad, but for some reason, it didn’t connect with me the way the podcasts usually do. Maybe it’s because I’ve never heard of these guys, but I just wasn’t feeling this one.

Looking forward to the next one, since episodes I’m not really into are few and far between.

  5. MarkinLV says:

Thanks for another great podcast Chris! Gotta admire your taste in guests. Had no idea who Fitz & the Tantrums were before this show and now I want to get the album ASAP.

As I’ve said before, your interview style is heads and shoulders above the competition.

    Keep up the great work!

  7. jp says:

The Fitz podcast is one of the most important real world musician’s diary pieces that I have ever heard. To have the curtain pulled back and reveal the honest reality of what it takes to “make it” in the music biz was refreshingly dark and no nonsense. So many musicians think that making it is in ones destiny but listening to Fitz lay it out on how you better be willing to sell your soul to it and be ready for the flogging of your life. Love what you do and if success comes with it, you are the luckiest person alive.

  8. DiHard says:

I love so many things in this episode. The fact that CH loves ABC as much as I do made my day. My first cassette was The Look of Love by ABC. My first CDs were “How to Be a…Zillionaire!” and George Harrison’s Cloud 9.

Overall I found the conversation inspirational and delightful. The concept of making a living doing something you love is radical and new. While I love my job and I worked many years to get it, the idea of me still doing it in 5 years makes me sad. But that’s story for another time.

Now I have a new band to nerd out over. It’s very refreshing. 🙂

  9. Billy says:

Wow – That might be the most enjoyable episode so far. Congrats

  10. Atticus says:

@Sydney: You’re very welcome. ALL of their first album is that amazing. Spread the word! Their new album ain’t too shabby either

  11. sydney says:

@Atticus: thanks for posting that. Now I’m hooked. 🙂

  12. Abbey says:

This was a surprise! I started listening to them a little over a year ago and have raved about them to everyone any chance I get since.

  13. Atticus says:

Ah. Guys I love you so much! I’ve been listening to Fitz & the Tantrums for a couple years now so glad to see them here. EVERYONE should go buy their first record and their new one. So happy for them to get some exposure here. I want them to make it big in the best way possible. They also throw an amazing live show. Seen them twice already and the energy they put off is incredible. So excited to listen to this!

One of my favorite songs of theirs

  15. Corinna says:

Fitz and The Tantrums is the best band name! I have loved listening to their (his) music for the last few months. Good to be able to meet Fitz on your wonderful podcast. Thanks Chris (and Matt).

  16. Fuckleberry Hinn says:

Before listening: never heard of these guys.
After listening: plan to buy their album.

Any troll who says that this podcast has become commercial this and mass marketing that can dip his cock in Worcestershire sauce and troll it down the Amazon River. Keep on keepin on, Hardwick.
