Who Is the Secret Cameo in DEADPOOL 2?

  1. Alwin says:

Lost me when he proposed banning the most effective tools for exercising the human right to self-defense.

  2. Lori says:

this was so cool. And funny  What you said about Keanu made me so happy:)

  3. DannyMac says:

Hardwick I must shake my nerdy fist at you in overstated e-rage.  (Prepare for the No True Scotsman moment . . . ) Loving on Starship Troopers and its just ruination of a classic sci-fi novel  . . . in both theme and lack of power armor kick-assery . . . for shame!
Now we can no longer be pretend friends.  In which I mean you can go back to having no clue who I am and I will reduce the amount of fantasizing about running into your on a flight by roughly 12%.

  4. Such a great guest! I’m not a horror fan, but given his in-depth love of movies and passion for filmmaking I *might* give them a go.

  5. Arabrabbra says:

I love him. I could listen to his stories all day long. He just loves his job and its wonderful to hear

  6. JonnyA says:

Great podcast! I was a little taken back at the praise given to Keanu’s acting chops, but all good. I’m sure he’s a great guy. Chris, look forward to listening to the podcast of some of the Comic Con panels you did this year. Hopefully you post them here.

  7. Three Toes of Fury says:

Great episode Team Nerdist…..Eli clearly loves movies and stories from film history…the last thing you’d ever expect from the director of Hostel is hollywood history about fatty arbuckle!

I also really liked Eli talking about some of the challenges of directing actors with attitude…its very interesting to hear about.

Peace .n. Im going to make an animated movie about a bunch of humorous centipedes which are captured by a deranged scientist and sewn together in the shape of a person..”Centipede Human”.

  8. bsg says:

results of milgram experiments are a bit more nuanced than the original findings.  this was covered in a great episode of radiolab a few years ago.

  9. RyanB says:

Del Toro and Eli Roth back to back?  As a horror geek, I say thank you.  Now, I would like to formally request Ti West, Sam Raimi, James Wan or Adam Green (not that he is in the same class as the others, but I have heard him speak before and he is a pretty articulate/knowledgeable guy).

  10. Boywonder says:

A welcome return to form. Jonah dude you’ve been mute lately we love your contribution, give the people what they want 🙂

  11. eAe_MalicE says:

Great podcast! But now you have to get Keanu on next ^_^

  12. PshhhRyan says:

Hey Chris (or anyone) what’s the background music you used in this episode’s intro?

  13. Mash says:

Why doesn’t the download button work since the site revamp? Just opens a player in a new tab for me… You’re ruining my gym sessions, Hardwick! *Fist Shake*

    • Mr. Yetti says:

I think you just need to right click the ‘down arrow’ and then select ‘save link as…’ That method worked for me, I hope that helps. 🙂

  14. Eli Roth is spot on, funny and interesting.

  15. What was the name of the sponsor for this episode? It was a collectible box or something??

  16. I believe the download issues have been fixed.  Sorry for the delay, but we should be good now. I think.

  17. J.Nvrmind says:

What a great ride,,Eli Roth should have a podcast. Thanks, now I’m off to enjoy my gory burrito.

    • ColinJ says:

He really should. He’s always been a very engaging speaker.
I’m hoping he will go on Adam Green and Joe Lynch’s podcast ‘The Movie Crypt’.
In fact, Eli should fill in for Green while he’s away directing his next movie.

  18. link_is_good says:
