Who Is the Secret Cameo in DEADPOOL 2?

Who Is the Secret Cameo in DEADPOOL 2?

  1. J. Smith says:

@Chris: It’s not just the weird and disgusting… Rule 34 actually states: “If it exists, there’s porn of it.” πŸ˜€

And if, somehow, you weren’t already aware, you can also find the full list of rules… just search for “Rules of the Internet” on UrbanDictionary or Google. There are different versions/spin-offs depending where you look, but the first 100 Rules are pretty much universally common.

  2. y says:

yeah, dude, checking your twitter during an interview is just bad form. Specially while talking about getting someone else on the show. That’s just disrespectful. Gotta work or want to check twitter? Just sit the interview out.

  3. Tracey says:

What is wrong with Matt that he had the beautiful Carla Gugino in the studio mere feet from him and took his eyes off her to check Twitter? (Not to mention it was kind of a rude way to treat a guest.)

  4. setlasmon says:

I love that picture too… you can almost see her Guginos!

  5. Patty Marvel says:

@Chris Hardwick and Matt Mira – all that talk near the end about sympathy for geese and neither of you thought to say, “Pour one out for my honkies?” Ya’ll are slipping!

  6. Patty Marvel says:

Am 100% behind Carla Gugino when she said you can tell much about a person’s character by how they treat their waiter. There is SO much truth to that it should be THE litmus test in all relationships, professional or personal. Reminds me of a line from “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” that reads:

“Sirius shook his head and said, ‘She’s got the measure of [Barty] Crouch better than you have, Ron. If you want to know what a man’s like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals.’”

Not comparing abused house elves to put-upon waiters, but the theory is the same. Barbara Walters once said on “The View” how SHE never had a problem dealing with Martha Stewart, so she couldn’t understand where all of these terrible stories about her were coming from. I sat there thinking, “Of course she was nice to YOU because you’re Barbara Farking Walters!” Follow Stewart around for a day and observe how she treats the guy driving her taxi or the barista who made her latte and see what you find.

  7. Bobby G says:

When I think of Carla Gugino I think of that song by Exile- I Wanna Kiss you all Over. Yep, Im old……

  8. Gavin says:

From someone who used to work at a movie theatre, when the bulb burns out it is not that easy to switch out. The bulb housing is extremely hot and taking the bulb out too quickly can result in lots of tiny glass shards exploding. The bulbs are also expensive, like $750+ when I worked there, so you tend not to have lots of them on hand. A minor detail, I know, but I’m a nerd…..

  9. toonsmyth says:

Thanks Patty and everyone who likes my art submissions! I’m glad to be able to give something back to this awesome podcast that has provided me with so much inspirational entertainment… For FREE!

I was just watching The Nerdist BBCA Special. That guy who wants to create a time machine to save his father – He DOES realize that if he succeeds, he will negate the motivation for creating the machine in the fitrst place, right? He may save his dad, but the resulting paradox could tear asunder the very fabric of the space/time continuum! Somebody stop him before he sends that coffee bean back in time!

  10. Patty Marvel says:

    @toonsmyth – “My little pony/my nerdy pony! Ahhhhhhhh…!”

The branding was a nice touch! I so hope it gets used!

  11. Taylor M says:

Awesome episode. After listening to this I’ve realized that Carla sounds like what I imagine Jennifer Lawrence will in like fifteen years. Just a random observation.

  12. Vincent S says:

omg, this woman’s so gorgeous and she just drew me in from just the audio. During the whole episode I never once had the feeling that she was pandering to “nerd culture” but she seems to like it a lot from a genuine place. That fear of celebrities trying to pander for more butts to that film they starred in was never here and I am so relieved. Dunno why I had that idea in the first place.

Just to add an lol for Matt’s consistently aired twitter correspondence towards Gordon Ramsey. XD.

  13. Danny says:

As I was listening to this episode, a few minutes after the part when it was described, I saw that Boss ad as a banner on another site.

  14. Tim Rutherford says:

Ha! Awkward moment with some genuinely funny joking about tortured geese right after the guest points out that she does actually give a shit. Didn’t know whether to laugh or cover my eyes…

But again with Reddit… it’s a weak greatest hits regurgitation of only the most easily palatable & packagable 4chan content. I don’t get Chris’s fascination with it.

  15. And don’t pee on Sting. That is also a myth. πŸ™‚ Ah, the things we learn from experience.

  16. Wildride says:

Don’t pee on jellyfish stings. That is a myth.

  17. wAlex says:

I totally understand why Matt offered to let her stay at his place. Schwing!

  18. Aticus says:

I am also voting for having Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on the podcast.

Dwayne Johnson, The People’s Champion VS Mirabooey, The People’s Champion???

    Can there be only one?!?!?

  19. Aticus says:

Hahaha what have you done? It’s… It’s…
    Such an odd mashup. Hilarious.

  20. Cory says:

Sounds like you need to get Dwayne Johnson on the Podcast. I have to say best Actor to come out of wrestling since Andre the Giant in The Princess Bride.

  21. Curtis says:

I love Carla Gugino. I grew up watching Spin City and then fell in love with her again when I saw Sin City (hahaha, Spin City – Sin City). Top notch.

  22. Melissa says:

YEAH! Silk Stalkings! … loved that show when I was a kid. Yes, I was a kid watching it.

  23. MiguelDavidC says:

She seems like a really cool/awesome person, really fascinating conversation.

And I agree with the thing. As a fellow european who can’t watch the shows live i’d love to support the Podcast in any way I can.

  24. my_leisure says:

    @toonsmyth That is awesome!

  25. Matt Grandis says:

Ha! I demand Toonsmyth’s banner be used.

  26. my_leisure says:

Ms. Gugino is gorgeous, definitely the stuff of crushes. Can’t wait to listen tonight.

  27. NeuroMan42 says:

Such a huge crush on her. *swoon*

  28. Matt Grandis says:

Apart from that. HOLYSHITCARLAGUGINO. I’ve had a major crush on her since forever. This podcast did not alleviate it. At all. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have the courage to talk to her either. Now less that ever. Good things do come in petite packages.

  29. toonsmyth says:

Oooo! Carla Gugino! She is just yummy! I will enjoy listening to this one later while I work. In the meantime, this idea just came to me a couple of hours ago and I HAD to drop EVERYTHING and bang it out real quick. It’s an artistic compulsion that needed to be purged. ENJOY…

    …and a smaller version for… You know… WhatEVER.

  30. Mokoshne says:

have to agree with andy above.

    smoking pic! πŸ˜€

  31. Teppo Koivukangas says:

Do you get the sweet, sweet royalties/support if I click through that banner to Amazon, and then continue from there to for my shopping, or is it just and only from the basic

Mainly cuz UK is closer to my part of the world. πŸ˜›

  32. Andy says:

OMG! That pic of her!!! You lucky guys!
